  Nettes Hotel. Teilweise ältere Ausstattung. Etwas hellhörig. Freundliches Personal. Frühstück gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich.

  Schönes Restaurant. Schönes Hotel. Guter Feierort. Wir haben bis jetzt dort eine Hochzeit, einen 60. und einen 40. Geburtstag gefeiert. Absolut empfehlenswert. Auch ein Tagesseminar mit 37 Personen haben wir schon dort durchgeführt. Hervorragend.

  Nice little country hotel in the more quiet area of Essen. Location wise it's quite tranquil but also a bit off with nothing much around. Service in the hotel is maybe not the warmest but quite funny and corky in a positive way. Rooms are small and slightly outdated but clean and with a little balcony attached as well. You'll get quite a good deal for your buck here even during exhibition times. Except maybe that 2eur tooth brush set I had to buy off then. 😃 Unfortunately I didn't try the breakfast but will next time I'm staying. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant which is patronized by quite a few locals coming here for their dinner and a cold pilsner after work, chat about their day, crack jokes and philosoph bout football. All in style of course and with pott-charm. The guy behind the counter wears a white shirt and a black tie and is a great entertainer for regulars and visitors alike. Awesome service here and good food, like my deer burger which tasted pretty good but unfortunately was too well done for me and therefore a bit dry. However I had a great time here. It's maybe not the fanciest of hotels, maybe not the best located either but it has a lot of history and character and I would surely return if back in this area. Thanks. Ps: free wifi
