::The positive first: I find Dr. The bottom line is that Halfin is a kind and patient doctor. The practice is a bit oddly designed with TVs on in every treatment room and open ceilings, but that's a matter of taste. Unfortunately there is still a big BUT… I learned from Dr. Halfin had a grinding splint fitted because of a cracking jaw. He told me that I would have to pay a personal contribution of €150, which I don't think is a small amount. When I received the splint a week later, I was a little speechless. It looked as if it had been made by a trainee in a 5-minute break, with all the edges milled off, crooked and crooked, that was my subjective impression. The chewing surface was then additionally ground on site. It was surprisingly complicated to remove the more disturbing areas; the procedure was very tiring for me. At the second appointment for grinding, I expressed my concerns and impressions about the rail because of the unevenness and also said that I was actually not prepared to pay €150 for it. Dr. Halfin's comment was: "It doesn't have to look good" and "It's been made now, you have to pay for it too." Whether they wear them or use them as tree decorations is up to them.” Well, I think that the appearance can also play a role in the price... And after some discussion, the most unhelpful sentence of all came: “You have to learn to relax”. A real no-go. The fact that I have to listen to something like that after many years of suffering and numerous treatments... I found it very inappropriate. I therefore do not want to continue being treated at the practice and would not recommend it.

At my previous doctor, the work was mainly carried out by the assistants, which led me to change practices. I have been a patient of Dr. for about two months now. Halfin and partner and couldn't be happier. Here, the treatment is carried out exclusively by highly qualified doctors who take the time to explain each step precisely and understandably. Although I pay privately, I find the price-performance ratio more than justified given the frequency and quality of the appointments. Conclusion: If you are looking for a first-class orthodontist in Cologne, you should contact Dr. Patrick Halfin and partners put patient needs and satisfaction first.

::A great practice. Dr Halfin and his colleagues are very nice and really take their time with the treatment and advice. Even though I hadn't been treated for several years, I got an appointment the same day - when my container came loose. I really don't know how these negative reviews come about here. It always depends on how you present yourself. So I can really only recommend this practice!

::I can't understand the bad comments! This orthodontist was recommended to me by our dentist. My 10 year old daughter was treated here for a very badly misaligned tooth and now 2 1/2 years later everything looks great!! Very clean and modern practice with a great, humorous team! The doctor always explained everything and my daughter is happy with her teeth! And we have NEVER had any problems with scheduling appointments in recent years! Sorry, but in Corona times you can be happy to get relatively prompt appointments without waiting... Thank you “Team Halfin” 👍👍
