  Unfortunately, I have a rare form of multiple sclerosis. I had no choice but to go to a university clinic. I chose Freiburg at the time because my parents lived in the Freiburg area. Since there was no drug on the market for this form of MS, a university clinic fortunately has more options than a local neurologist or a small hospital in the country. I could have just as easily chosen the Tübingen University Hospital. From the track it wouldn't have mattered. I haven't ruled out a move to Tübingen yet, as the neurological day clinic in Freiburg has become increasingly poor. The medical reports contain errors. But that's been going on for a long time. Reports are written using copy and paste. There's nothing bad about that at first. But then the information must be correct. Or you tell the doctor that your condition has worsened, but there is nothing about it in the doctor's report. I have had an infusion for years, which I have all Had to get 4 weeks. For this reason, I received a doctor's report every 4 weeks. But I also spoke to patients who didn't have to come so often. Exactly the same thing with the errors in the doctor's reports. You also now feel like a number and not like a patient. For this reason I will probably move to Tübingen.

  This review only applies to one sister. Yes and unfortunately she stands out with her behavior and sayings and I can't get it out of my head. The reason I'm writing this review is because I hope it clicks with someone and tells them that they should be a little empathetic in this job. She may know a lot about her job, but I think it's bad when the family is worried about a relative at the bedside and Madame's bad mood makes it clear that you're tormenting the relative. I mean, what's the point? She's made the last few visits really unpleasant. Her colleagues turned on in front of us. Unfortunately, I won't forget your saying "he's being tortured here" in a hurry. What was their intention? To tell us there is no hope. and we shouldn't inherit them anymore? IMPOSSIBLE! Thank you very much, I just hope that you never end up in such a situation and are then schooled. I will not name the lady nor will I describe her. Maybe one or the other knows who that means. The rest of the staff in the intensive care unit were really helpful and nice.

  I am writing this review for my mother-in-law, who was in Hoffmann's ward throughout August due to the discovery of a rare autoimmune disease (myasthenia gravis). She was very happy and asked me for this recession. In particular, Dr. Capello, who was responsible for you, should be mentioned at this point, a very competent and committed doctor. The physiotherapist Mirko and the occupational therapist Selina were also very motivated and created very good individual programs. The nursing staff were always friendly, patient, helpful and answered all questions. When she was admitted to the university hospital, my mother-in-law couldn't open her eyes, walk or move her hands. Even breathing was barely possible. During the 4 weeks of therapy in the ward, she made a 180 degree turn and was able to do almost everything again at the end. She felt like she had gone from 0 to 100. Her conclusion: 5 stars and a big thank you to everyone who looked after her during her stay, even if they were not mentioned by name here!

  As some other patient already commented, I can only confirm that with my experience. It's unbelievable how unfriendly and unhelpful the personnel there can be and how a lady (Tel.: 0761 27****10) reacted to my emergency call on the phone. Aug.27th.2022, 10h50. Apparently her job is not to help patient in emergency but push them to pharmacy and get analgesic, or call 11***7 where the doctor will ask you to go back to this clinic. I've contributed more than 10 years to public healthcare system in this country without having taken any severe treatment burdening your healthcare system so far and see doctor due to sickness less than 2 times per year on average. I feel I should deserve a friendly helping hand at least when I truely need emergy help.

  Update 05.2023 Now 5 stars. There is now WiFi 👍 Best experience! Today (June 15th, 2020) I was again at the Freiburg University Hospital Neurology Special Outpatient Clinic for Myasthenia Gravis. The staff were very friendly and competent, from the entrance area to the doctor. Thanks again 🙂 The hygiene measures due to the coronavirus were also very exemplary and trustworthy. I would give it 5 points if there was WiFi again for outpatient appointments. While I was waiting I had to fill out some questionnaires about my condition etc. To do this I had to access data in my cloud, which of course wasn't possible and was annoying.
