  I've never been more sorry to see wasted potential until i've been to Franz Mehlhose. The venue is nicely decorated, the atmosphere is quite cozy and to what Erfurt has to offer, they are surely in a favorable position. First impression aside, the waiters forgot we are there, we had to beg for the menu. Getting the order took place 15 minutes later and when the food finally arrived 1 hour later, everything was cold. It was however the best cold burger I ate. I was then brought the wrong beer while one of the owners tried to convince me that this was indeed a Helles and not a Radler. "It's craft beer", he said. "I am a hobby brewer, I can tell the difference between a Helles and a Radler", said I. We didn't bother to wait for someone to cash in when we wanted to pay: after 15 more minutes of waiting we just paid at the bar and left. I understand the familiar atmosphere they are trying to promote, but this works only with a good service delivery: no friend will come there again if you waste their time and serve them a cold meal.

  The place is tidy and nice. Great selection of drinks and cake even in the daytime. Good coffee, friendly staff. The music program is ambitious, they obviously go out of their way to offer intersting experiences with the music. Good stage, good PA, sound great.

  Good environment and great Music from the band. Sitting arrangement is good.
