::Tolle Klassen, tolle Lehrer! Ich habe große Freude in der Contemporary Klasse von Evi und Jazz Ballett bei Colby. Alle Lehrer die ich hier getroffen habe haben viel Ahnung und machen den Unterricht abwechslungsreich und auch humorvoll, was eine tolle Atmosphäre schafft. Preise sind angemessen, man hat bei den Erwachsenen Kursen viel Auswahl ob Vertrag, 10er Karte etc. Bin sehr zufrieden bei Footsteps und kenne schon viele Tanzstudios! Macht weiter so!

::Just a quick feedback here for the parents: this school is far from the cool Berlin attitude, if anything happens you won’t find here any understanding and tolerance. We had our 2,5 y.o. boy going there for 6,5 months (automatically prolonging the 3 months contract we initially signed). At the end of this time I was 8 months pregnant and got very bad joint condition so I literally couldn’t even walk. My husband is working full day and we don’t have any relatives in Berlin so there was no one who could take our son to the dancing class. I wrote to Sandra, the school owner, explained the whole situation to her and asked if she could make an exception and stop charging us for the lessons. She didn’t agree saying that the next contract prolongation just happened and we not only cant stop paying right away but even 2 weeks or 1 month notice is not possible, we have to pay for the whole next 3 months of school. At this point I asked if we at least could send another child of our friends instead of ours so that we don’t pay in vain. And alert! Even to this Sandra didn’t agree. She said no other child is allowed to take place of ours. This was highly unusual because we also visited other classes in Prenzlauer Berg (swimming, art) and there is always great deal of tolerance and understanding shown. E.g. if a kid can’t attend a lesson you can always send a friend instead. Btw later some of the parents from our group told me that they have been told our son can’t visit the class anymore and that they offered us to give the rest of the paid time to another child but we refused. So the owner still wanted to look good in the eyes of others and had no shame telling them this incredible lie! So just be aware that despite promoting the school as kids and parents friendly you won’t find there any personal support.
