  We only stayed for a meal, the service and food was good. The restaurant is old fashioned but that made it cosy, worth a visit.

  Enjoyed evening dinner in the Standlust restaurant, where we sat on the cosy patio shielded from the strong summer sun. The restaurant menus is varied with a wide selection of salads, fish, meat and desserts. In addition, it also had a seasonal themed section of dishes with fried chantarelles. Everyone received delicious, rich sized and well prepared meals. The service was excellent with kind, helpful and english speaking hostess. Very nice experience. Although the area generally lack good places for dining, the Starndlust restaurant stand out and is highly recommended.

  Somewhat unfriendly. The website says they do not accept reservations on the weekend yet that there is always place or that they help you find a place. Something along these lines. I do not have any issue with the no reservation concept, my issue is with the so called help and overall communication/friendliness of the team. We were 4 adults and 3 kids, so two tables were needed. We were totally fine with waiting, also pointed out to a table which just got free and had a few surrounding tables nearing the end of the meal but the staff refused to keep the table free. Telling us (father with a crying child on the arms who wants to play, the rest were checking out a different restaurant on the corner) I need to deal on my own. Is it so hard to put a Reserved note for 5 minutes until the others come? I wonder... Then, while the waitress tells me what I've just shared with you, a waiter or manager (I could not tell) came and was aggressive in his tone to the waitress telling her to stop talking and serve food, in an impolite manner. I found this too very unprofessional. Working for years in gastronomy, from a waiter to a manager and company owner in my past, I find the communication of this restaurant very mediocre. Yes it is a successful job but treating people with respect is a high value that cannot be forgotten. This experience, and reading the answers of the restaurant to different reviews starting with "thank you (name) so you gave us an evaluation without eating in out restaurant" show me that for this restaurant unless you sit you are not really important. Dear restaurant managers, you have forgotten that service exceeds the four corners of a table. The people that did sit seem happy with their food, therefore I am not giving the place one star. However, if you are a larger table coming on the weekend, I'd strongly recommend going somewhere else.

  Its not bad. The rooms are okay, for normal casual people. It was clean so thats fine. But there is nothing specifically fancy.

  I ate a Pfifferlinge dish there and it made me feel extremely ill for the rest of the day! :( Nice location and mini-golf though.
