::I absolutely cannot recommend this dentist. Unfriendly tone with the dental assistants and poor information about the procedure and additional costs. I had cavities removed from two teeth. 5 days after the filling I went to Mr. Hoffmann again because the tooth was suddenly slightly sensitive to cold. My root was immediately pulled out without trying any other attempts. After the tooth was open and the root was extracted (and while I was still lying there with my mouth open), the DR told me that the treatment in this practice was only possible as a self-payer. I changed practices. The second tooth also started to hurt after 5 months. Result: Caries was not completely removed by the Dr and was closed with the self-paid filling. The only plus point: the ladies at reception were always very nice!

::I ended up here about 5 years ago because the practice was close, the doctor was friendly and you could also talk to him about prices. Today was the last time I was there though!! Over the years he has placed a number of crowns on me, one of which was probably too big and blew up the bridge that was the counterpart, then he forced a crown on me at the back of my mouth with the most expensive material without any explanation, so that I could do it completely have to pay yourself. Next a crown on a canine that looked like Count Dracula, way too big, he then had to grind it down in half again. The icing on the cake was a caries treatment a few weeks ago, which he charged me almost 400 EUR and that's why I was there for the second time to at least have it completed properly. I just had to go there again because last time the assistant had to run out x times to get material that she hadn't prepared. So he couldn't pull the sandpaper between his teeth. This means I can't clean the gap because the floss always breaks. He would have only had to do this briefly today, which would have taken maybe 2 minutes. However, he was only a quarter of an hour late. And after the only patient in front of me had been outside for about 20 minutes and the whole practice was empty, I said that I had to get to it slowly so that I didn't have to extend the parking meter again. But somehow I got fed up with having to wait so long again for a job that should have been done long ago. Unfortunately my previous dentist is in Frankfurt and I live in Hamburg but I have an appointment there next week for a new implant and also for a few new crowns. Because some of the ones Dr Hoffmann put in have to come out again. And on the door it says aesthetic dentistry, well thanks for the conversation and it also says implantologist. I would never have anything implanted there. Thank you again for that! So if you want to wait a long time and then have to go somewhere else to have it done properly, then you should go there. Apart from everything else, the equipment is also outdated, there has been no water for washing up for years, it comes from the tap in the cup, when you look at the lamp you would like to take a cloth to wipe it off first. The drill sometimes goes on strike. And he only has one lady to clean his teeth. That always means eternal waiting times, I have no idea why he can't find any staff. I've left several times after a long wait, but unfortunately I always came back. But not again this time!!! The two stars are for the reception and the teeth cleaning women!

::Dr Hoffmann is an excellent dentist. I came to the practice about 7 years ago to get a second opinion because they wanted to put an expensive crown on me. Instead of placing a crown, Dr Hoffmann made a filling that has held up to this day without any problems. I recently received an implant that is and looks perfect. Completely satisfied - recommended!

::Went for a teeth extraction. He is brilliant in what he is doing. His assistant also was so helpful in dealing with patients. He explained what is problem and gently take decisions for the good. He is highly recommended.
