  While the quality of the bread rolls is undeniably good, the bread baskets have been looking sadly empty on weekends for some time now. If there is already a yawning emptiness at 9 a.m., that is unsatisfactory for the customer. I'll go to other bakeries on Saturday mornings until this logistical problem is solved.

  This organic bakery offers a variety of especially whole-grain bread and bread rolls. The staff is very friendly and the prices - although elevated - match the food quality. Unfortunately no hot chocolate is available but one can choose from a variety of coffee and tea. There are some seats outside and about six inside. I especially liked the whole-grain chocolate croissant. I can definitely recommend this bakery.

  My husband used to go to this bakery when he was a child in the 1940s to mid 1950s. It was walking distance from his home at 63 (?) Landwehrstrasse. Is there anyone at the bakery who knows of any Tummlers still living in the area?
