Never had problems, always friendly and fast processing, don't know what other people's problems are.

Worked in a bank myself, had all types of accounts from Sparkasse to N26 Berlin Startup Revolut. DKB by far the best that is currently available in my opinion. Anyone who says something else works at Deutsche Bank or N26! Don't listen to you

0 stars for this bank. My entry does not specifically refer to the DKB Gera, but the DKB in general. For 14 days I reach no one by phone and spend hours in the hotline, which leads to nowhere. It is not taken care of the problem. I have rarely experienced such unbelievably bad customer service. I can not recommend anyone to set up an account here.

ATM use is restricted to minimum EUR 50, and if you don't have a salary on your VPAY card accord - your credit card must be used as a debit card as limit cannot exceed EUR 100. Other than this, it's a pretty good offer. Any EEA resident can get a free VPAY and a free VISA charge/debit card. No restrictions on SEPA transfers, but they will often block transfers and manually await your confirmation if you make transfers to other EU nations. And they will also call you for AML/KYC if transactions go/in out same day - even if it's amounts smaller than a normal salary. Europeans can get similar offers from N26/Ferratum/Denizen, but they don't offer any VPAY card - and not all of these allow residents of any EU nation as clients. But they will allow clients to use a 20 minute video conference for KYC/AML, while DKB will normally demand a visit to a German post office for this.
