::Since a few months I am attending speech therapy with Melanie Hilgert at HNO Berlin Mitte praxis. I started because my voice was often hoarse and I had lost the higher pitch of my vocal range. Melanie is being very helpful and informative, she always clarifies how the different exercises can help improving the current condition and this makes it easier to understand and follow the therapy. The sessions are relaxing and fun, different exercises are first clearly explained and then performed. It is very important to perform the assigned exercises also at home, in the beginning I had not performed them as often as advised, but as soon as I started practicing daily my condition improved significantly and I have currently regained my full vocal range and my voice is hardly ever hoarse. The therapy has also improved my posture and worked on the musculature of my face and neck. Melanie speaks english well and this is very important as my German language proficiency would have not allowed me to confidently follow the therapy and understanding it in detail.

::It's hard to put into words how grateful I am for finding this place - specifically, Frau Hilgert. As a therapist, she knows her job inside and out. Each hour of work with her gave me new exercises, a review of the exercises we'd already worked on, and a general check in about my voice. We set goals and followed up on them - she took a genuine interest in my voice, and how our work together was helping me meet my vocal goals. I can't say enough good things about her and her work. If you need a vocal therapist, she should be your first call.

::My experience with Dr. Rehberg was really good. They do not work with scheduled appointments so just drop by and decide if you wait or come back at any other moment. Every praxis in Berlin with appointment system runs with 1 hour of delay anyway.. The nurse at the desk was friendly and nice although my German is quite poor. Regarding Dr. Rehberg, she was really professional and kind with me. She patiently and carefully listened to me and proceeded with diagnosis.

::Worst doctor ever. I am actually insured, and arrived with a strong pain. My card didn't work for some reason. They declined to help me. I asked to call insurance company and to verify my insurance. They just declined to do so. Unbelievable.
