My son was born here. The process was smooth and the hebamme , doctors were very professional and warm which was very helpful for my wife during the labor process. Highly recommended.

Admitted their three times due to severe abdominal pain and elevated blood markers. There are some nice people there that care about their jobs and the patients but there are some really incompetent doctors and nurses there as well. I had a ct, scan and multiple ultra sounds from different doctors and was told there was nothing wrong me. The Dr from the oncology ward even went as far as to tell me that I had severe mental problems and that all of this was made up in my head. He went as far as to write that I needed to speak to a psychologist in my discharge brief. Also one of the female doctors from the gastro ward was simply dismissive of my complaints snd laughed at me. Two days later I still had severe pain and decided to get an MRI as a "self payer". It turns out my spleen was dangerously enlarged, there was a blockage in my bile duct with infection. Had the the doctors just ordered an MRI like they were supposed to, it all would have been fine. Instead the docotor in the Oncology ward simply called me mentally sick and told me to go running outside and to speak to a psychologist. There are some really nice nurses and doctors there but unfortunately, I had to deal with a lot of idiots. Most of the nurses in that ward also simply rude and don't even know how to measure blood pressure or take a freaking pulse correctly. " ALLES NORMAL". Maybe figure out how to do your job instead of jumping to moronic conclusions.

So far I have been very satisfied with the service in Diako. The doctors are competent and the nurses are nice and friendly. I've been staying and being treated in Diako many times, however this time was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Below is the chronology of what happened: I called my husband to bring stuff for me as I was hospitalised here. My husband came and texted me he was downstairs. We understand that the visiting hours are between 15-18.00 and that you can only enter when you are fully vaccinated. We both are fully vaccinated. And since it's outside of visiting time, I went downstairs to pick up my stuff. I had just had an operation, and turns out the stuff was to heavy for me to carry. As we were talking how to carry the stuff upstairs, we went to the security to ask whether or not my husband can bring the stuff upstairs and he said no. So we went to the receptionist to gave my stuff there and wait until a nurse came to pick it up. Turns out the nurse calls the floor director and the floor director said that he could help me carry my stuff as long as he is vaccinated. He showed his proof of vaccination and we went up. As we walked pass the security he started to threaten my husband and says "vorsichtig". VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. His colleague tried to neutralise the situation and said maybe he felt insulted and therefore said that. I told her that even so, it's still unprofessional. This is so disappointing for Diako, a hospital with a good standard to have a security running around threatening people with "vorsichtig". I honestly felt very insulted by this open threat from Diako's security.

I would like to give it -5 stars. Anytime I go to the emergency they tell me to go to Bremen nord or Bremen mitte. What sickness does the emergency in diako treat actually cuz its like they treat nothing. I took my 1 year daughter there and they refused to give her treatment and asked me to go to a different hospital. If someone doesn't come to your establishment without ambulance doesn't mean she's not really sick.

I would like to give less than a star. I just wanted to know the birth weight of my daughter, but the Archive employee made it a state secret. Rude and not really cooperative staff.
