::Unfortunately you cannot give 0 stars. It's the only DP branch in Oststeinbek, but it's definitely worth going to Glinde or Billstedt. I have never been served friendly in this branch and even when buying stamps, the German language is too big a hurdle for the operators of this branch. The most terrible was the day when I tried to hand in my return there. I was informed by the owner that the code on my return slip would be invalid. This resulted in several phone calls with the issuing agency of the 3D code, which dragged on for over an hour. I put the phone on loud so that the owner and the friendly woman on the phone can talk to each other. Even the owner, who was present all the time, couldn't help. Ultimately, out of sheer desperation, I hoisted the 60 kg cabinet back into the car and drove on to the store on Merkenstrasse, where the code was scanned in within 3 seconds without any problems. There I noticed that the branch in Oststeinbek still has old scanners and can therefore only read barcodes. If the operators knew about their business and spoke German, they could have communicated that instead of looking for the problem with their customers. I hope that the German Post accidentally opens a second branch here, with friendly staff who speak the local language.

::one time traveling to Hamburg from Canada, I passed by this post office to buy some stuffs for my friends, the first impression from this place was the friendliness of staffs. Even I knew almost nothing about Deutsche and English was not the main language there, they tried to communicate to me and gave me the best service . I really appreciated. Highly recommend! If you want to buy stationery stuffs or use post office service, this place is what you are looking for.
