::Hotel Consul is conveniently located near the town centre. It is clean and comfortable. Unfortunately my husband was taken ill while we were staying, and the Hotel Consul staff were brilliantly kind and helpful. We had to leave early because of his illness and they were kind enough to refund our unused nights, which they were under no obligation to do. My only possible criticism is that like many German hotels they do not provide tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, which is a bit of a shock to those of us who like to get some caffeine into us before we see strangers in the morning!

::The location of this hotel is superb! The staff really make you feel at home, are very friendly and try to anticipate your needs. It does need a major refurbishment, but still it's clean and reasonably priced!
