  I was very pleased! I was in the Celenus Klinik Ortenau for 5 weeks and am now more stable and resilient. The extensive program, the competent doctors, therapists and nurses, the helpful, committed and competent social worker as well as all the incredibly friendly and helpful employees throughout the hotel were very positive! I stayed in one of the renovated rooms in the mountain house with a balcony. The dream view of the Black Forest helped me to quickly feel at home there. The food was really good for the amount of patients. The chef's tips were also great. The surroundings and the forest paths are beautiful and the place is something very special with the historic old town. At first I was skeptical that there was no TV in the rooms (but there were TVs, you can bring your own or borrow them) but to be honest it really suited me and I didn't miss it. During that time I started reading again and managed to read over 7 books. I take some of this time home with me and into the job. I can only recommend everyone to try all the offers, it helps a lot that you wouldn't expect as a layperson.

  I'll start with the positive things about this facility. The sports therapists are great!!! The best thing about this rehab was the psychologist Ms. Madlinger. If she hadn't been my psychologist, I would have left as quickly as possible. Personally and professionally, she was the best I've ever had. With one exception, the nursing staff were always friendly and approachable. (Ortenau) The nursing staff (Kinzigtal) was a pure catastrophe on a human level!!! The kitchen staff doesn't work at all. They all need training in dealing with people!!! Always rude and assertive... The head doctor or both are absolute businessmen. Who like to and often just let the boss hang out. Human and professional but not good for anything. Unfriendly and disrespectful is added. The clinic management cannot be surpassed in terms of humanity. I take my hat off to him and his way of dealing with people. He is respectful and very polite. Or better said perfect!!!! Now to the location of the clinic: The location is fantastic and hard to beat. Great view and a beautiful little town in the immediate vicinity 😍 The rooms in the Tahlhaus are a complete disaster, but luckily they are only temporary 🙏 The clinic's sales prices for goods and food are overpriced and incomprehensible. Absolute impudence!!! I would like to divide the food into BREAKFAST, satisfying LUNCH, satisfactory Dinner: poor to unsatisfactory!!! And as mentioned, kitchen staff are not working at all!!! Dealing with people, never learned... In addition, a person committed suicide during my time/stay!!! The good thing about everything was the respectful treatment among all patients. Otherwise I would not recommend this facility to anyone and therefore only 1 star!!!

  I was in this rehabilitation clinic from the beginning of June to mid-August and I was very satisfied. It was also Corona time and I have to say, everything was well organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. All the therapists I worked with were well trained and helpful and did me good. Special praise goes to the sports therapists, who put a lot of effort into making the treatment bearable for me and my pain during this time I would also like to thank the nursing staff for their excellent willingness to help... I would also like to praise the good advice from Dr. Matei, my therapist... I can only recommend this clinic. .

  I was at the Celenus Klinik Ortenau from April 21, 2020 to June 2, 2020. The therapists all together accomplished their tasks with a lot of dedication and commitment. The appropriate treatment was initiated very quickly and was completed successfully. I got my life back and I'm extremely happy. The food was also great, I was really pleasantly surprised. I was accommodated in the valley house with a balcony and a clear view of the landscape. All in all a very nice and successful stay. I can only recommend the clinic.

  I don't have good memories of the Ortenau clinic because, in my opinion, the head doctor is completely confident in himself. Within 5 minutes he judged my diagnosis, which several specialists had confirmed, to be incorrect. In addition, the chief physician and the senior physician played a power game on my back because the chief physician had to prove that he had the upper hand. The nursing staff, on the other hand, was very friendly and competent and helped me a lot during my difficult time. At this point I would also like to thank the therapists.
