  This is a small bar / restaurant on an old market square. The square itself has been polished up into a respectable location for drinks, dinner and tourists. Not that great; the square's got three or four restaurants, an equal number of bars and a fountain with ducks in it. This Cannape then. Look, I expect a LOT. I'm Belgian and we're in Germany, after all. I don't expect nouveau cuisine, delicate hors d'oeuvre or fine truffle oil. That's not for me anyway. I expect high quality, simple food. I like to feel I can order stuff that's not on the menu, that I can talk to the staff (and they listen). I want a cook who will shout at me when I order something he doesn't like. This restaurant wasn't any of that. In their own way, they served good food. It certainly wasn't expensive. But I had a "English" hamburger (egg, bacon, burger) and it was decent. My wife's fish was decent. My kids liked their Schnitzels but they were decent, too. The beer was decent and the staff was decent. We weren't surprised and/or happy. At this restaurant, we had a meal. We paid. We left. And we won't be coming back.

  Location: 7/10 Location is Great for MG standards. Located in the main street. When sunny is really nice. Place: 7/10 Nice place with really nice decoration and nice colors. The music in the evening is chill out and in a nice volume so it doesn't bother you. Cleanliness: 7/10 Nothing special. Clean but not spectacular. Menu: 5/10 Don't expect to find out anything new or weird or interesting on it. Friendliness: 5/10 This is Germany. They really try... :)
