::I got shown this place by a couple who's been going there for decades. The place is a gesamtkunstwerk: from the lighting to the background music to the way the food comes steaming out of the kitchen, Trotzdem is intoxicating. The waitress, who I was told has been there forever, was having to work hard to keep up with all her tables but she always had time to share a couple sweet words with my daughter. I'm looking forward to coming back.

::Café Trotzdem was my favorite place when i was studying in Hochschule and i loved their Hahnchen Brust in Sahne Sauce Most importantly there friendly attitude towards customers After renovation it looks more kooler and attractive but i am forced to give 3 rating bcz of rude and arrogant attitude of two waitresses working on the terrace. They made us feel uncomfortable, and was annoyed when they had to repeat a question and most importantly scolding kids not to walk around the table. I must say i met the owner and staff downstairs, they were very friendly and cooperative. Food was still good, but not going there again
