  The history of Breuer's Rüdesheimer Schloss as luxury hotel is ending. My room was located at sub building, many bugs in the bathroom and in the bathtub. I requested to change room, a receptionist(young woman, a little fat, wearing glasses, unfriendly) rejected my request due to full without any apologies. I supposed rooms at the main building seemed to be nice, although rooms at the sub building are dirty, desolate, lonely, narrow, not well maintainanced, shabby furnished(e.g. broken phone). My fantastic memory of Rhein was broken by the hotel.If you are planning to stay the hotel, you would better to confirm your room is located at the main building. Location and breakfast was excellence.

  We loved the outside seating, music, and historic charm. We did not like all thr smokers outside, but dealt with it. The clock show was unique. Music was fun. Food was good. We had a pre set menu as a group. Plenty of great local Reisling!!

  The food was nice. The waiter was kind and smiling. Pricing rather high but for the quality of food ok. If you are lucky there will be live music also.

  We had group dinner here and it was just a super fun evening. The live band was great, kept everyone laughing, and played a mix of traditional and modern music. We loved those guys. Lots of people were up dancing and singing along. They had some groups of folks come up for schnapps shots (very delicious 🤤). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The younger boy (I'm assuming family) that was helping with serving spoke AMAZING English and was just so incredibly nice. Food was basic German dishes - Roast pork with potatoes and a cabbage/broccoli side. A small plate of appetizers, bread, and dessert were also included with our group meal. Seconds were also offered. Everything was delicious. There was a full menu, but I can't speak to that.
