We booked the English Tour and had a great time. Our host Heiko was fantastic and kept things rolling, with no shortage of information, but always good fun. We were taken through the whole brewing and bottling process, which is so impressive, and finished in the most ornate, beautiful little bar, within the Brewery itself. Here we all got to try different beers and scoffed a top-notch lunch. The quality of the beer and our lunch was excellent and all amazing value. Heiko could not have been a better host and made our trip a resounding success.

The tour is great, and you can book the tour in English if you don't speak German. It begins at the gift shop, then a video about the brewing process is showed and you continue through the Brewery facilities, that are all very organised and clean. After the tour you can have food and beer if you chose this option, that I totally recommend. The gift shop have a few options to take as souvenirs.

A week before we left for Berlin, we booked a tour at the brewery. The website is in German, if you can't read German, try a translator and you'll get the picture. The tour is quite fun. You meet up at the entrance of the store. You'll get earplugs and a device so you can hear your tourguide. You start with a explanation about the brewing proces. The fun part is to go to the factory floor and see where the beer is bottled. That's a great site. After the tour you'll have some beertasting, beer drinking and/or food and beer. Depends what tour you book. We had the beer drinking tour. The tour is about 90 minutes, so you'll have 90 minutes left for beer tasting. Loved it. The building is nice, there are plenty of beers to choose from. We had a great time.
