Legendary hotel, it was my pleasure to be accommodated there. The catch is that the standard of 5* has gone much further. The owners need to think about how to tackle that crucial challenge: simply ask the guests about their experience and you will get to know how to do it much better!

I really wish I could rave about this place, but I just can't. We had a dozen rooms, three people had to switch rooms that were literally unbearable. Flooding, odor, and noise. My room 332 is okay, but not at all what I anticipated after reading the reviews. One of my fellow travelers room on the 7th floor was much nicer and we don't know the rhyme or reason of either as they were booked the same. The service at the front desk was lacking every single time I asked a question, to the point I just gave up. Concierge can't book anything in the hotel or elsewhere. The service at Faulk's (Thank you Michael) was INCREDIBLE! The service and food at The Garden Room was Very Good. The food and service on the 7th floor Blue Spa restaurant was off the charts! Thank you Jurgen!

Amazing old hotel in the best part of Munich. The best part of our stay was Michael from the concierge. He sent us to some AMAZING restaurants in Munich we haven’t been to before (see below). He should definitely receive a raise! - Zum Goldener Kalb (Steak house) - Pescheria (Italian Fish)

It's for sure one of the best places in Munich. I love the roof top terasse and the SPA area. Rooms are well decorated and pretty new.

This hotel is amazing historical place! Every room and every bar and restaurant have their unique features! Located in the heart of Munchen, one minute of the most luxurious designer shops, cathedrals and other monuments in the city centre. Only one thing marred our stay - we waited more than two hours for one of our rooms to be ready. And after I called two times they “found” spare room right next to the other two we were given. However, I highly recommend this unique place because it is impressive.
