  Very nice hotel with fantastic staff. Would love to came here again! We walked with our childs in the lovly neighborhood with alot of corn fields, people we met where so kind.

  A very nice hotel perfect when road tripping. The staff is nice and service minded, restaurant and breakfast are nice and very convenient after long driving. Rooms are very large, modern and clean in village calm environnement. Highly recommend, this is our 4th stay in many years.

  The hotel and restaurant is really nice. On the other hand, unfortunately, the toilet in my room was definitely not cleaned.

  We had a great, private room with lots of space to move around and house our fleet of luggage. The staff were so nice and accommodating! We were a bit hot, so they brought us fans. We were late for breakfast, but they brought out freshly cooked eggs and breads just for us! Anything we needed, they happily obliged. They were patient with us trying to communicate in limited German or using Google Translate. Of course, there was always someone nearby who spoke English. The entire town is very quaint and filled with friendly people eager to talk! Ask to see the tree with pipe embedded in it. The town was once on a train route for military ammunitions. During WWII there was an explosion on the train that sent pieces everywhere. The pipes you see in the tree are from that explosion.

  We love Balland's Hotel. It's clean and well appointed and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is top notch with a little bit of everything, plus the restaurant also has a wonderful full menu. All this, and it's located a 2 minute walk from the train station.
