::I had a really good experience here, nothing like some of the negative reviews here. I had the exact car I ordered (VW Passat wagon), but they also offered me a choice of other premium cars at pickup (BMW 1 series, VW Golf GTi, Volvo T5), but I needed the extra space so I stuck with the Passat. At pickup, there was no stress, no upselling insurance, just good mannered and efficient staff. I had the rental for 3 days, and drove from Berlin to Augsburg and back. The car was almost new, only 9,000km (just under 10,500 when I returned it). The car was excellent, drove perfectly on the autobahn, and was pretty efficient despite being a 2.0L diesel. I would definitely recommend Avis at Kudamm and would use them again. Pro tip: book through Kayak.fr (French version) for best prices. I save around 10€/day doing this!

::Renting a car is always a stressful situation. However, I had a very good service at this location. They did not try to sell useless insurance or gps and gave me an upgrade from an Economy to an automatic SUV. They did charge me for a tank of gas which was refunded after delivering the car full. It Is important to mention that I did not return the car to this location. If I were to rent a car in Berlin again, I will definitely use them.

::Ich habe im Februar 2017 ein Fahrzeug der Gruppe J (Luxusklasse) angemietet. Da ich schon immer mal eine S-Klasse fahren wollte, rief ich vorher in der Station an und äußerte meinen Wunsch. Sie sagten mir, dass sie es nicht garantieren können, würden es aber versuchen. Vielen Dank nochmals das Sie mir den Wunsch erfüllt haben - ich bekam ein S400 Langversion. Der Service am Telefon, die Abholung und die Rückgabe verlief 1A. Das war auch der Grund warum ich im August wieder die Luxusklasse für 1 Woche gebucht habe - den Wunsch nach der S-Klasse habe ich wieder geäußert. Ich hoffe es klappt wieder so. Macht weiter so! Wirklich 1A Service!!

::Found a reasonable price for Easter weekend. Came a bit late for my pickup, which was after closing and the staff was willing to help me out. Car was great and had a good overall experience with the dreaded car rental. I will still base my car rentals on price, but will definitely first look at Avis.
