    Was only for a lecture...there is only breakfast...drinks okay..service was nice..hotel...and toilet were very clean

    We had a great stay at the Hotel Am Schloss in Herrnsheim. The location was perfect, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

    In the hospitality industry the customer comes first. The 3rd September 2016 was my brother and sister in-law Wedding Party. There was a total of 93 guests. We had one waiter serving us for almost 6hrs. He was very professional, respective attentive to detail and on point with service. He was later joined by another waitress in the evening. I must say that regardless of the number of years the Manager has run the restaurant i found her arrogant short of being racist it felt like we were being watched. One had to repeat orders to her because she kept bringing the wrong drinks. At one point she cleared my drinks and i had to order again. The room had no AC the waiters kept all windows opened for ventilation. Some how she found it proper to go round closing windows! She had to be told time and time again to open them it was too hot! That was just common sense. She was opinionated and yet she was making money because the services being offered were not free. Some of us actually flew in specifically for this day so did not expect to be subjected to feel like am being rated for who i am. Instead of the same Manager checking that we were ok check if our drivers had arrived, She asked us to go out and keep silent because she did not want noise for her sleep in guests. I mean it was just one thing after another. I am not racist but i strongly feel that if this is how us guests were treated then two things should happen 1. Promote the waiter to the Manager's position, the fine gentleman who was diligent at his work looking after all those guests. 2. If the Manager stays the same she should stay at the back Office or put a sign that says "Enter and wait for service ". #Some one tell the Manager look beyond colour or change your job. We are never going to visit your Restaurant again. If you can not handle the heat get out of the kitchen.
