  I spent a few nights in the hotel complex through a travel agency in 2014. The location/location is a dream. Even back then, the hotel and its facilities still had the charm of the GDR, but that was okay. I could already see that on the internet. It was simple but everything was well maintained. Yesterday we happened to be in the area and made a quick stop. Oh dear, what happened here? Everything was absolutely run down. I didn't recognize anything because of all the wild growth. Many barracks would probably have to be demolished here. And a major investor would be necessary. It's a shame about the entire property.

  The location is visually great, but the boss's brother, who behaves as if he were the boss, is no longer in his right mind, there is no room for thinking in this head and there is no basis for exchanging opinions, it becomes every rule designed the way you need it. In captain's hats and Hermes shirts, people are mocked who have better things to do in their lives than get drunk from morning to night. Thanks, but that was my last time in Kriebstein and I would recommend everyone to choose a neighboring town when it comes to planning a vacation or something else.

  A lot has happened here. After a change of ownership, the facility is now coming back to life and quality. The hotel is gradually being renovated, a restaurant is already in operation, and even the snack bar by the water next to the children's playground is open. Since I knew the object from a few years ago, I wouldn't have expected so much movement in such a short time.

  The rooms are clean and fully stocked with Soap and towles. The service is friendly. The buildings are old and you see it in every corner of the Hotel Area, but it is possible to get a lot of rooms for bigger family parties or events. The beer in the restaurant is also very nice for this region. If you search a very simple but good location, all is fine here, if you want something new, trendy or noble, it wouldn't be your first choice.

  Hotel is an old GDR building. The outdoor area with its other buildings makes a functional impression. A lot of love and money still needs to be invested here. Otherwise, the facility at Kriebsteinsee is easily accessible by steamer or on hiking trails. Our room was very spacious. Shower and toilet simple but very clean.
