::Very very nice and cozy hotel. Breakfast is super and restaurent great for evening dinner. Price is quite fair and very close to ski-dome and other activities ..... we will be back 👍

::We were there for a family gathering. Although they cater a lot to elderly tourist groups we had a very enjoyable time due to the team. The chefs are the owners sons and taking their job very seriously. Breakfast or dinner (buffet & alá carte) have been very good and made fresh from scratch. Even dietary requirements beeing considered. Rooms are a bit dated but sparkling clean and generously sized. The hotel is perfectly located for hiking tours through the Lüneburger Heide. You can start right from the hotel. There are also 3 EV charging spots available.

::Food was very German. Quite salty too, as if the cook was a smoker. There was a bus tour there with older people. The restaurant is like a glass extension with tiled flooring which is so loud you can't hear yourself think. The reception and buffet area is all in one and very old like a 1950s party celler with randomjunk like teddies in a glass cupboard and sticky notes. It desperately needs replacing and de-cluttering. Staff were very nice. The breakfast was OK but the coffee was awful and they don't have the normal coffee machine out at breakfast, had to ask for it. There was only bread rolls in the pastry area. No croissant. The hotel area was also dated with a defect coffee machine and broken drinks machines. Random stuff that smelt like grannies wardrobe. Bookcase in the hall, random old furniture( see photos). The bedding is real feathers, which was killing my allergys and it was loud. And the balcony is NOT SAFE see photo. There was a big gap around the balcony, very dangerous. The bed was really uncomfortable and we could not sleep the 2 nights. The road outside is very loud too. And didn't like the bible in the room that is so old fashioned. Glad to be home again.

::The restaurant is perfectly clean and the chef is fantastic. His absolutely delicious lemon meringue is from an old family recipe, handed down for generations--- a must! I could eat it every day.
